Seagate�s new recording technology makes our dreams come true

Amazing news came from Seagate recently. Looks like they managed to create first hard drive with storage density of 1 terabit per square inch (1 trillion bits). In next 10 years they will be able to extend maximal storage of a hard drive from 3 TB to 60 TB. Seagate made a breakthrough storage drive using a new generation recording technology � HAMR (Heat Assisted Magnetic Recording).
